Yesterday when I was teaching my 4.75 yr old son to knit a basic knit stitch, I told him the story
Up the tunnel
Around the tree
Dig a hole, then push it off.
He knitted a few stitches, then told me a much better story.
The rocket blasts off
Around the rocket (because it is a round rocket)
Land back on earth, then the astronaughts jump out.
A much better story, linking knitting with interstellar travel. I am very proud.
If it is So High I can't get over it, or So Wide I can't get around it or around to it, here it is.
A blog about the great things in my life, the things I am doing or the things I would love to do.

I like
Stab them,
Hang them,
Throw them off the plank.
It's terribly violent, and I don't know that I will be using it to teach Inigo, but I do think it would have helped me to visualise the process, and I might have learned a lot sooner :)
